“BAATC’s Airport Initiative helped us to equip over 1,000 employees to recognize and report signs of potential trafficking. We are sending a message to traffickers that SFO will not be complicit in their illegal business.”

-Ivar Satero, Airport Director, San Francisco International Airport

Airport Initiative Training is equipping airport employees nationwide, from large hubs like Denver International Airport to small hubs like Spokane International Airport.

Overseeing a state with one of the largest number of airports in the U.S., the California Airports Council has partnered with Airport Initiative to be the provider for compliance-ready human trafficking training for CAC airports.

Despite recent industry challenges with COVID-19, several airports began using Airport Initiative Training in 2021 - including Oakland International Airport, Ontario International Airport, Hollywood Burbank Airport, and Sonoma County Airport.
